What Missoulians Need to Know:

Climate Change Initiatives in your backyard:

Who doesn’t want a clean environment, to ensure that we leave our world a better place than we found it?  While most of us rally around that simple statement and it sounds warm and fuzzy, the simple truth is that this noble idea has been co-opted by groups and individuals that are pushing a completely different agenda.

When scientists must resort to manipulating data to ensure their ongoing receipt of government grants, and to keep the climate change agenda on course, reasonable people including the media should stop and ask a few questions.  Why aren’t they?

Climategate should have awakened people to the fact that something isn’t quite right with this movement, yet it continues to march forward in Missoula, supported by none other than Missoula’s duly elected mayor.

If you do your own homework on this subject, (watch sustainable development in Montana video) you will find that many elected officials do not themselves understand the implications of developing and executing such an agenda in our own cities and towns.  Instead, they buy into the original “protecting the environment” argument, and are useful idiots of those in power behind the scenes of the environmental movement pushing a totally different agenda.

Is Mayor Engen unaware of the negative aspects to our property rights, freedom and liberty that the implementation of such a program brings, or does he fully understand the implications of what he has set in motion in Missoula?  Why don’t you ask him?  He can be reached at 406-552-6001.

Here are some Missoula Milestones you should be aware of:

ADVISORY GROUP ON CLIMATE CHANGE AND SUSTAINABILITY

In Missoula, Mayor John Engen's Advisory Group on Climate Change and Sustainability has put more than a dozen volunteers to work writing a climate action plan.  "We've made great progress," city spokeswoman Ginny Merriam said. "We should have the draft ready in December."
